What Is PayPal? |

PayPal does not reveal your financial information. When you send a payment using PayPal, only we know your sensitive financial information.
PayPal is Fast
As a customer, you can receive your purchased items faster by instantly submitting payments using your PayPal account. You don't have the inconvenience of calling a third party to complete payment for your item.
Merchants who accept PayPal are paid instantly so they don't need to wait until funds clear before they send your item through to you.
PayPal is Easy
Paying with PayPal is easy and convenient. Simply enter your PayPal username and password during checkout when you want to pay for items - no need to go to a separate website to enter in bank details, you don't have to pull out your credit card every time you want to make a purchase, nor do you need to pick up the phone and call a third party to pay for your item.
Do I need to have previously signed-up with PayPal before I start using it now?
No!
When you select PayPal as your method of payment, during the check-out process you will be asked to quickly set-up your account. This step only needs to be completed once, is very easy, and will only take a short time to complete.
At the end of the transaction you have the choice of discarding the information (PayPal will not retain your financial information), or instructing PayPal to keep your details for future payments (if you choose the latter remember to keep your email address and password).
Alternatively, instead of waiting to sign-up for PayPal through checkout, you can join PayPal immediately.
The PayPal service is provided by PayPal Australia Pty Limited (ABN 93 111 195 389) which holds an Australian Financial Services Licence, number 304962. You should consider the Product Disclosure Statement before deciding to sign-up for or use the PayPal online payment service at https://www.PayPal.com.au.
